Humanitarian Response Experience: Notification and Family Assistance Training
Join us for an interactive Humanitarian Response experience. The workshop will be held over 2.5 days, and facilitated by Don Chupp (President & CEO) and Carla Tirel (Response Specialist). The workshop is centered on those in the business aviation industry responsible for providing humanitarian support to those impacted by an aviation accident. Attend if you are looking to acquire the knowledge to train a company team, as well as to gain a better understanding of effective Emergency Response processes.
Participants will learn the methodologies created and used by Fireside Partners during Emergency Responses. These methods have been adopted as “Best Practice” by many companies around the world. Using a Learn – See – Do approach we ensure all attending have the opportunity to understand the theory surrounding the processes, but also to experience and practice them first hand. Through a series of team building exercises, attendees will encounter live interactions with seasoned family assistance team members. You will experience first-hand the challenges of Notification and Family Assistance during an aviation emergency response event.
YOU Become the Expert...Time to RESPOND!
Suddenly immersed in a full-scale practicum, participants use their training to provide Notification and Family Assistance for the families of those affected by a scenario-based aviation accident. At the conclusion of the workshop all who attended will be proficient in, and have achieved a field level skills set in Humanitarian components and their relationships to the overall chronology of an effective Emergency Response.
